‘Grace Kelly: Style Icon’: Hollywood actress honored in London show for her fashion (photos)

Grace Kelly, actress and style fashion icon will be the center of attention in the new exhibit opening in London at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Called ‘Grace Kelly: Style Icon’ the exhibit will show Grace Kelly’s dresses and fashion over the years.

One of the fashion pieces on display is a dress she wore in Hollywood. The 1955 gown she accepted her Oscar in for her portrayal of Georgia Elgin in The Country Girl. There are other pieces that also will interest those who loved the actress including the costumes from her appearances in High Society and Rear Window.While the media got a peak inside the exhibit today along with a private viewing for celebrities this evening, the public will be able to browse it starting Saturday morning. The exhibit, showing not only pieces of her personal collection and Hollywood, also has Grace Kelly film screenings, workshops, and fashion seminars highlighting the 1950 looks and styles. Jodi Jill
